I can still, vividly, remember the snow fall in London little while ago.
最近 （っといっても、ちょっと前になりますが）ロンドンで、かなりの雪が降りました。

１５センチくらい？ いや、 多分２０センチほどあったかもしれません。

What really surprises me though, is that schools are closed, transports are not in full operation (some cases, no buses, no train, etc), so that the city itself isn’t working order.
とても驚いたのが、学校、交通機関 (電車、バス等）が閉まったという事。

I know it’s a little bit corny to use such a picture for branding purposes (of Japan Post), but I just cannot believe how different the countries are.
こんな写真を使ってまで、 「日本郵便は頑張ってますよ」 というのを伝えようとするのを考え、ブランディングする、広告代理店もどうかと思いますが、、、。 ここまで、国によって違うのは面白いですね。

Maybe it’s ok to have a day like this to stay at home?
Maybe it’s ok to live such places where snow a lot, but still everyone works without any problem?

多分、２０センチくらい雪が降ったら、一日中家にいても良いんじゃないかな？
それか、雪が何メートルも降るところでも、みんなが頑張って生活できれば、それも問題ではなくなるのかな？
